Alice Woodburn Robie, 72, of Campbell NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 12, 2025.  She was born on November 23,1952 in Sayre PA a daughter of the late John and Marie Woodburn.  She was a graduate of Sayre Area High School and was employed for over 25 years at the Ingersoll-Rand and more recently at First Transit in Horseheads NY.

Alice is survived by her sisters: Martha Sturdevant (Chuck) of Nichols NY., Agnes Wayman (Allen) of Sayre PA and brother: John Mark Woodburn (Diane) of Waverly NY. Several nieces and nephews and special friends Kevin and Kim Yost of Painted Post NY.

As a long time, member of the Campbell American Legion Auxiliary Post 1279 Campbell, NY she served as President (2003-2004), held the offices of Secretary and Treasurer. She volunteered on fish fry crews and Wings & Things for many years. Alice was also active with the children's holiday parties, other dinners and events. She helped with "Mamma Cindy's Soldier Wish List" delivering toiletries to be sent to troops overseas.

Alice volunteered for several years with groups aiding ex-racing greyhounds to find loving forever homes. She went to Meet & Greets, held dogs, rode along on many transports to deliver greyhounds across many miles destined for new homes. She attended local greyhound events throughout the years and supported several groups, by donating raffle items, selling raffle tickets and when asked helped in all capacities during the day.

When hanging out with Alice there were always plenty of smiles, jokes and laughs!

A celebration of Alice's life will be held on April 12,2025 from 1-4 at the American Legion Post 1279 8458 County Rte 333 Campbell NY 14821.

A private burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

And as Alice would say "Go Irish!"
