Anthony (Tony) Weaver, 76, of Binghamton, NY died in Christ on April 1st, 2009 at Lourdes Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Frederick and Anna (McDermott) Weaver. After High School Tony enlisted in the US Air Force. Tony loved to play all types of sports from the time he was 10 years old until his death. He was also a member of St Paul's Catholic Church, American Legion and VFW.
Tony is survived by the mother of their seven children, Bernice Weaver and loving companion, Norine Kimmell. Son: Paul and Lynn Weaver; Daughters: Kathleen and Bob Garofalo, Ann and Steve Martin, Mary and Don Morley, Margaret and Allen DeLuca, Bernadette and Mike Catalana, Elaine and Mike Kroll; Brothers: David and Michael; Sisters: Margaret and Mary; 19 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, special friend Mary Humpton, and Many other friends relatives and neighbors also survive.
A memorial mass will be held for Tony on Saturday April 4th at 10:00AM with celebrant Fr. Caruso at St Paul's Church, 282 Chenango St. Binghamton, NY. The burial will take place immediately following the service at the Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
