Amy Joyce Kelley, was born on December 24, 1954, in Towanda, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Towanda High School and spent the entirety of her life in the town she was so fond of. It is with heavy hearts that we share she begins her journey with her lord and savior on October 19, 2024. Her life was a testament to her faith, which guided her every step and decision. As the Bible states, "Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good." (Romans 12:9). Amy embodied this verse, dedicating herself to the good in her life and the lives of others.

Amy was a loving and empathetic soul, known for her unwavering dedication to those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life. She found her calling in the healthcare field, serving as a Home Aid during the extended illness of her mother, whom she cared for at home alongside her sister, Susan. When she wasn't providing care for others, Amy could often be found engrossed in a good book or taking long, peaceful walks around Towanda. She also had a deep affection for the music of Elvis Presley, a passion that brought her much joy throughout her life.

Amy is survived by her sister, Susan Kelley; brother, Greg Kelley; sister-in-law, Julia Kelley; and her great-nephews, Jace Kelley and Blade (deceased) Kelley along with several other nieces nephews and special friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Elwyn Kelley; mother, Joyce Kelley; and siblings, Brenda, Colin, Francis, and James Kelley. Amy's life was a living testament to the Biblical verse, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Her love for her family and friends was insurmountable and will be forever cherished.
