Anthony Theis, 61, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2008. Born on September 2, 1947 in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late John and Waneta (Hanson) Theis. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Deanna Sydloski, Naples Fl, and Nicole (Mike) Chidester, Blue Ridge GA.; grandchildren, Eric and Ryan Chidester; great grandson Derrick Chidester, sister Norlene (Fred) Slater of Binghamton, brother, Robert (Hazel) Theis, Apalachin. Several nieces, nephews and many friends also survive. He owned and operated numerous small businesses in the triple cities area as well as in Florida and he retired from GAF in 1989. Anthony was an avid outdoors man especially enjoying hunting and fishing.
At the families request all services for Anthony will be private. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice in his memory.
