Audrey J. Stanko, 70, of Vetter Road, Athens, Pa passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Ashton Healthcare Facility, Athens. Audrey was born on January 9, 1938 in Jersey City, New Jersey a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (McDuffie) Britt.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years John Stanko; sisters Carol Ford of Sayre, Berneice Blauvelt of Elmira, NY; mother-in-law: Mildred Wanzo of florida; sister-in-law: Dorothy Young of Florida; Gloria Durland of Wyalusing, Pa. Special friends Velma Miller, Margaret Nader, several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, and a niece Soraya Ford. At the families request all services will be private with inurnment in Forrest Lawn Cemetery Elmira NY.
