Beatrice Marguerite (Wood) Wilson, of Elizabeth Square Apts., went to be with her Lord on May 13, 2011 surrounded by family and her special friend "doofus" at the home of her daughter Beverly, in Athens, PA.
Beatrice was born on May 19, 1928 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena (Sherman) Wood in Canton, PA.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Alfred George Wilson, son Gary Wilson and brother Wesley Wood.
Beatrice is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Robert (Linda) Wilson of Ithaca NY., Donald (Brenda) Wilson of Waverly, NY., John (Diane) Harrison Sr. of Wilawanna, PA. Daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia (Ray) Buck of Endicott, NY., Beverly (Rick) Baker of Athens, PA., Virginia Chamberlain of Chemung, NY. Brother: Harold (Eva) Wood of Tallahassee, FL. Sister: Neva Wood of Tallahassee FL. 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
At Beatrice's request there will be no services. A private burial next to her husband Alfred will be conducted at the family's convenience in the Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly, NY.
For those who wish, donations may be directed to the Guthrie Hospice, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA. 18840, in loving memory of Beatrice, or the charity of one's choice.
