BETTY H. MANLEY, 90, of Newfield, NY, passed away on AUGUST 4, 2013 in Horseheads, NY.
A memorial service will be held at NINEVEH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Nineveh, NY on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00PM with Pastor Emrys Tyler officiating.
BETTY was born in ENDICOTT, NY to LOUIS & GERTRUDE (BURGHER) WHITMARSH on MARCH 16, 1923. She graduated from WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL in 1941. She worked as a legal secretary for Harold I. Braff, Esq. for 30+ years. She enjoyed people watching, crossword puzzles, reading, & knitting.
BETTY is survived by: Daughter, NANCY (& Robert) EISENBERG of Andover NJ; Son, CHARLES (& Dee) HULIT III of Berea KY; Daughter, LINDA MANLEY of Somerset NJ; Daughter, GINA (& Paul) MILLER of Newfield NY; Grandchildren: JASMINE MILLER & NICHOLAS MILLLER of Newfield NY, BETTY WOODS of Newark NJ, CHRISTOPHER CASTIGIONE & ANTHONY CASTIGLIONE of CA; Three great-grandchildren & Cousin, HARRIET "FRAN" BROMLEY of Harpursville NY.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at ELCOR NURSING FACILITY of HORESHEADS; CARE FIRST HOSPICE SERVICES of CORNING; COOLEY-TIOGA POINT FUNERAL SERVICES of ATHENS PA ; and NINEVEH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of NINEVEH, NY.
