It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Lester Wolfe.  Born on February 14, 1938, in Stewartsville, New Jersey.

Charles was known for his love of hunting and outdoor adventures. His passion for hunting coon and deer was only second to his love for metal detecting, journeying to Arizona and Colorado to find gold. His love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles was legendary, as he rode them until shortly before his retirement in 2004. Charles' was also a life-long laborer, logging with his father and brother Robert, driving tractor trailers, and operating heavy machinery. His work at Dalrymple Quarry, Chemung, NY, as a Drag Line Operator was a testament to his diligence and resilience.

Charles' heart was always at home, where he built a beautiful log cabin with his partner, Cheryl. His love for Cheryl was only rivalled by his adoration for his dogs. Charles is survived by his partner Cheryl Golden, his son Ty, his daughter Jessie, his sister Arlene, his brother Ernest, his grandsons and his special friends and caretakers Roland, Lori and Jacob Altif. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Alberta Wolfe, his brothers Robert and Gerry Wolfe, his son Bart Wolfe, and his Aunt Nellie Bulmar.
