On July 5, 2019, Christopher Haynes, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 50. Chris was born on March 14, 1969 in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to Kathleen Toyryla and Richard Haynes.  He moved to Florida in 1988 and became a contractor who worked for multiple builders in the Orlando area and ran his own business.

On December 30, 1993, he married Tish Millmann. They raised two children, Makenna and Connor, who were his pride and joy.  Chris enjoyed the beach, fishing, and relaxing in the hot tub with his family, friends, and dog Duke. He loved spending time with his family and friends most of all.  His door was always open and he would happily whip up a gourmet meal or appetizer at any time of the day. He loved making people happy, and for many of his friends, Chris's kitchen counter was their favorite place to eat.

Chris was completely devoted to his family and immensely proud of his children who brought him so much joy.  He could be found at every one of their events with a camera in his hand and a smile on his face. He reveled in their accomplishments and enjoyed sharing how proud he was of the young adults they are becoming.

Chris is survived by his wife, Tish; his children, Makenna and Connor; his parents, Kathy and Dick; his three siblings, Kimberly (Paul) Zarach, Kevin (Kelly) Haynes, and Colleen (John) Williams; and 8 nieces and nephews (Christian, Dalton, Hunter, Aidan, Emma, Madelyn, Cora, and Hudson), and many cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Oviedo on July 27 at 2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider contributing to Makenna's and Connor's college fund (Zelle: 407-312-0759) or a charity of your choice. If you are unable to attend the service, the family asks that you raise a toast to Chris and share some of your favorite memories of him.
