Darlyn C. Herriman, 72, of Waverly, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Elderwood Nursing Facility. The daughter of Forrest and Irene (Clark) Fisher, she was born in Lock Haven, PA, grew up in Salladasburg, PA, and was a graduate of the Jersey Shore High School class of 1958. She later married the love of her life, Dale Herriman. Darlyn worked as a Nurse's Aid at The Futures in Towanda, PA offering comfort to those who needed it most.

Darlyn was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Irene Fisher, and husband William Dale Herriman.

Darlyn is survived by her children: Todd Herriman of Waverly, NY, Tammy Herriman of_Phoenixville, PA, Robb Herriman of Lockwood, NY and Natasha Herriman of Waverly, NY; her brother, Clark Fisher of Salladasburg, PA; her grandchildren: Samuel Bowman, Kelsea Bowman, Kalie Herriman, Keegan Herriman, Kennedy Herriman; greatgrandson, Landen Bowman and three nieces, Tania Myers, Deanne Shirey, Shara Fisher, one grandniece, four grandnephews and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the North Waverly Chapel, 40 Rt 34, Waverly, NY on Wednesday September 19, 2012 at 5:00PM with Pastor Edgar L. Manns officiating. A period of visitation will be held from 4:00PM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be directed to The American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA. 02241-7005, in loving memory of Darlyn.
