Obituary

Daryl Lynn "MO" Molyneaux, 62,  of Athens, Penna. passed away Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at home following an extended illness. At Daryl's request there will be no funeral or visitation services. A Celebration of Daryl's life will be held at a later date.

Daryl was born November 27th, 1956 to the late Donald L. Molyneaux and Joan Roseman Molyneaux in Salisbury, NC. He is survived by his loving Mother Joan Roseman Watson, Concord, NC; Beverly May, Sister and Caregiver, Athens, PA; Donna Molyneaux Balbi, Sister and husband Tony, Concord, NC; Leslie Molyneaux, Brother, Omaha, NE.   Nephews and Nieces Thomas Manning and his son Gabriel, Athens, PA., Kris Manning and his wife Alissa and their children Avery, Tate and Emy, Mooresville, NC. Ashleigh English, Concord, NC and Jeremy and Justin Molyneaux, AZ.

We cannot fail to mention his beloved family pet Dozier who appointed himself as Daryl's guard dog and protecter. Some of you know exactly what we are talking about.

Daryl graduated from Athens Area High with the Class of 1975, a year behind his classmates and friends in the Class of 1974 due to his illness. Daryl was a member of the National Honor Society. He was tutored from home with the help of several special teachers throughout his last years of high

school as he was determined to get his diploma. David Wardrop was his teacher and mentor in school and the reason Daryl was able to graduate. There are so many others that were important and loved by Daryl that we cannot list, but you know who you are.

Daryl earned his Associates Degree in Accounting while at the Johnstown Rehabilitation Center.

Daryl would have wanted us to mention a few very special people in his life. Tom Gable, UK, his lifelong Best Friend from childhood. Scott Rumpff, Athens, PA, a longtime friend and Jamie Hall, Ulster, PA., his devoted friend and caregiver and fellow Yankees fan.

As many of you already know, Daryl was an avid YANKEES fan until the very end. We know he will be cheering them on from up above. His favorite Football team was the Minnesota Vikings. WWF was Daryl's favorite pastime.

One of Daryl's final requests was that all his friends and family celebrate his life and remember all the great times you had with him in your own private way. If you were Daryl's friend you were his friend for life. He loved unconditionally. Daryl lived life on his terms and made the best of everything. Thank you to those of you that were with Daryl on this journey called Life.
