Donna M. Donahue Lesh, 88, of Van Etten, NY passed away on July 18, 2024 at the Robert Packer Hospital.

Donna was born July 6, 1936 in Sayre, PA as the oldest child of the late Donald and Josephine (Lattimer) Donahue.

Her biggest love was her children and her life was devoted to them.  She loved bluegrass music (especially if her "boys" were playing it).  She was a cook/chef for most of her life and never passed by a rummage sale.  She enjoyed serving her community as a Van Etten Town Board member and an Ombudsman for Chemung County Office of Aging.

Donna was predeceased by her oldest child, Douglas James Lesh and she's survived by her children Donald & Lori Lesh, Doreen & Ed Vargo, Darryl & Tammy Lesh, Deneen & George Diller and Dawn & Rich Rose; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  She's survived by her siblings; Ken & Polly Donahue, Jerry & Norma Donahue, Ron & Judy Donahue, Joy & Richard Wega and baby sister Bonnie Mallen along with several nieces and nephews.

Donna's family would like to thank her aides, who she loved very much, for taking wonderful care of her.

Per Donna's request a Celebration of Life will be held at St. Luke's Chapel at 92 Main St., Van Etten on August 7 at 11:00am by Pastor Phil Jordan.  Donna will be interred with her son, Doug and fur babies, DeeDee and Spunky, at the convenience of her family.
