Dorothy Marie Nosewicz (Cargill), 81, of Vestal followed her angels to heaven on June 19, 2008. She earned her wings after losing her struggle with complications from heart surgery.
Born in Vestal Center on November 8, 1926, Dorothy was a lifetime resident of the area. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Julius Nosewicz, her three children, Gerald, Raymond, and Joelene, four granddaughters, Sacha, Angela, Lindsay, and Elizabeth, seven great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
She was a gentle soul, devoted to her family, but an adventurer at heart who loved to travel. Her favorite pastime was to amuse and entertain with her stories.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 19th at the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd., Vestal, NY 13850
She is deeply missed but will be in our hearts forever.
