Obituary

Edward "Ed" Scott Bacorn 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 16, 2025. Born on January 30, 1965, son of Donald Bacorn and Judy Johnson.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Ed and Lisa married on June 29, 2002.  He was employed with Shores Auto Sales in Towanda, PA at the time of his passing.  He formerly worked at Ferrario Auto for many years.  Ed had a passion for cars and trucks and could fix anything.  Whether under the hood of a vehicle or tinkering in his garage he found joy in solving problems and sharing his knowledge with others.  He was the one you could count on for help.  In the last few years Ed found a new passion - hiking around Montour Falls and the valley of his home French Asylum.  The beauty and peace of nature brought him a sense of calm & freedom and these walks became sacred time for him. He loved watching all his grandchildren in their sporting and school events.  He loved camping and made many new friends at the campground whom he loved.  Everyone will remember his infectious smile and his kind heart.

Ed is survived by his wife Lisa, his children Mitchell (Becca) Bacorn, Dalton (Krysten) Bacorn, Larry (Maryann) Baker & Seth (Shamyrah) Baker.  His sisters Dee Bacorn, Kelly (Jim) Smith, Brothers Frank Fee and Bill (Melanie) Haas.  His grandchildren Sydney, Vernon, Ashlynn, Aubrey, Vivian, Isaac, Ainslee, Silas and soon Koen.  Stepbrothers Donald (Kim) Bailey, Raymond (Maria) Bailey, Henrietta (Jeff) Card, & Sharon Bailey. Mother in law Marlene Benjamin. Brother in law and sister in law Robert and Lori Horton.  Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  He was preceded by his parents, infant daughter Peggy Sue and his stepmother Troveda Bailey.
