Elwin A. Brannaka, a resident of Florida since 1982 passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Bradford County Manor. Elwin was born in Towanda on May 20, 1932 the son of the late John and Nora Brannaka. Elwin was predeceased by his wife Patricia L. Lenox Brannaka in 1996.

Elwin loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed working outside in his garden and around the house~there was nothing Elwin could not fix around the house.

Elwin is survived by his two sons Marvin and Deborah Brannaka of Indianapolis, IN and Walter Brannaka of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

A memorial graveside service and celebration of Elwin's life will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 1pm at the Tioga Point Cemetery with Pastor Gregg Knupp, officiating.
