Surrounded by her loving family, Frances May Gray, 75, of Milan, Pa went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 27, 2009 following a period of declining health. Frances was born on March 27, 1934 in Montrose, Pa a daughter of the late Myron and Edna (Howard) Henry. She attended school in Montrose and on June 10, 1950 she married Claude R. Gray. Fran was known and will be remembered as a great short order cook. She loved bowling and treasured the time spent with her family. Fran was a member of the 600 Club, was Sportswoman of the Year in 2000-2001 and 2005 was inducted into the Bowling Hall-of-Fame. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Frances is survived by her husband of 59 years Claude R. Gray; children: Terry and Lois Gray of Rome, Pa; Eugene and Joni Gray of E. Smithfield, Pa; Rodney and Terry Gray of Waverly, NY; Joanne and Don Barrett of S. Waverly, Pa; Linda and Ken Humphrey of Waverly; her siblings: Donald (Betty) Henry; Clara Norton; Paul (Barb) Henry; Marie Whitesell; Robert (Vy) Henry; Sharon (Bill) Pickering; Faye Wiser; Clark "Rusty" Henry; her special grandchildren: Ryan and Bonnie Gray of Rome, Pa; Mindy and Robert Glantz of LeRaysville, Pa; Tara and Scott Repsher of Rome, Pa; John and Jessica Copeland of Syracuse, NY; Shannon and Jesse Mansfield of Florida; Stacy and Wayne Sinsabaugh of Athens, Pa; Kristi Gray and Brandon Wright of Sayre; Donnie Barrett and Christy Bennett of Athens, Pa; Marlene Barrett of S. Waverly; Cody Marchese of Waverly, NY; fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Frances was predeceased by a daughter Connie Jean Gray; siblings: Jim Henry; David (Beverly) Henry; Myron "Butch" Henry Jr. brother-in-law: Julius Norton.

Abiding with her wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Cooley-Tioga Point Cremation & Burial Options, 802 N. Main St., Athens, Pa. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens.
