Gary "Chef" Bydairk, 63 of Sayre Pa passed away un-expectantly on July 5, 2012. He was born October 23, 1948 in Waverly NY a son of the late Walter and Beulah Bydairk. He graduated from Athens High School and joined the army in 1968. He served for two years doing a tour in Viet Nam. After the service he returned to the valley where he was a chef in numerous valley restaurants, including 25 years at the Keystone Inn. He was predeceased by his parents: Walter and Beulah; brothers: Walter Bydairk and Albert (Sonny) Bydairk; and sister Phyllis Senft.
He is survived by his loving wife PJ (Pam) at home. Sons: Michael Bydairk of NYC, Joel Bydairk of Elmira NY. and Joshua Bydairk of Elmira NY. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Debra) Bydairk of Sayre. Sisters: Diane (Wes) Perry of FL, Holly Allegrucci of Granite Bay, CA and Ramona Griffin of Washington. Sister-in-law Teresa Bydairk of Saratoga Springs NY. And numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 12th at 1:00PM at the Athens Wesleyan Church on Wilawana Rd. Sayre, Pa.
