IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George F.
Bergmaier
December 26, 1940 – May 10, 2025
George F. Bergmaier, 84
George F. Bergmaier, 84, of Franklin Twp passed away at the Robert Packer Hospital on May 10, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA. An adventurous spirit and an ardent lover of the outdoors, George found his solace in the wilderness, hunting in the vast expanses of Canada hunting moose, or fishing in the tranquil streams close to his home in Monroeton, Pennsylvania. A quote by John Muir, "In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks," perfectly encapsulates George's love for the outdoors.
For George, dedication wasn't a trait, it was his way of life. His commitment was reflected in his professional life as a steadfast employee of the UFCW Labor Union, and as the produce manager of the Towanda and Sayre Acme for 44 years. His dedication extended beyond his work, earning him a Para Legal Certificate from Penn State. A loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather, George cherished his family, creating a warm, nurturing environment for his loved ones. He was a rock, a beacon of stability in the ever-changing tides of life.
George leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Bergmaier; his devoted daughters, Christine (Edward) Dolack and Patricia (Paul) Quinones; cherished grandchildren, Nicole Dolack and Nathan Quinones; caring siblings, John Bergmaier and Mary Cloeren; and special nephew, John Bergmaier Jr. Many more neices, nephews and special friends survive George's memory. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Bergmaier. In the words of Albert Pine, "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." George's dedication, love, and support continue to echo in the lives of those he loved and touched.Memories and condolences for the family may be shared by visiting his guest book at www.tiogapointcremation.com
