Ina M. Mills, affectionately called Peck, 103 years old, of Sayre, a dedicated and loving mother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2024. Born on July 11, 1920, in Nichols, NY, Ina the youngest of 11 children was a beacon of love and resilience throughout her life. Her reliable presence and unwavering love deeply touched those who were fortunate enough to know her. She poured her life into her career, her hobbies, and most importantly, her family, the center of her universe.

Peck was a testament to hard work and dedication. She retired from Woolworth's in Endicott NY after a faithful 27-years and went on to serve as a home health aid for Guthrie for an additional 18 years. Yet, her work was not limited to her professional pursuits. Ina found immense joy in raising chickens, tending her garden, and spending quality time with her family.  Peck would have a glass of Rolling Rock and a cigarette enjoying life to the fullest.   The family would gather once a month for their cherished 'Hen Cackling Club' and a lively game of Po-Ke-No.

Peck is survived by her loving daughters, Linda Osmun, Nancy Tyler, Donna (Bob) Baker and Sally (Terry) Coleman, her son Leonard (Julie) Mills. Cherished niece Beverly Manvell, and special nephew Gary Bates. Several Grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Mini VanScise, her devoted husband Dana Mills, and her adored sons Edgar and Richard Mills.

As we remember Ina, we are reminded of a verse from the book of Proverbs, which seems to encapsulate her spirit: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue" (Proverbs 31:25-26). Ina's life was a testament to this scripture, a life lived with strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.
