Jack L. Fenton, well-known businessman of the Wyalusing area, at the age of 68, passed away on Monday morning November 7, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital after battling an extended illness.
He was born in Mehoopany, Pa, the son of the late Edmund and Marian Reeser Fenton. He is survived by his loving wife. Maureen A. Fenton. Jack and Maureen would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in June. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Todd, Sherri, Dan, Renee, Chad, Peggy, Kyle, Maria and his granddaughters, Levi, Katrina and Shelbi.
He is also survived by sisters and brother; Grace Rought, Joan Zalewski, Delores Moore, Rose Mary Loyak and Clarence Fenton and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by 4 brothers; Richard, Ralph, Dusty and John and one sister, Wilma Daily.
He achieved one of his greatest dreams when he started the Fenton Welding business in 1987. Upon his retirement he continued to keep himself busy by working on and refurbishing equipment. Prior to his business, he was a pipeliner and certified pipe welder. Jack enjoyed life to the fullest with his wife, family and chocolate lab, Cody. He had many joys in life like boating, rving and nascar racing but his greatest joy was being at home with his family in Homets Ferry. His strength and courage will be greatly missed.
There His memorial service will be held on November 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Wyalusing, PA. There will be a receiving line at 10:30a.m.
