Jack D. Williams, 91, of Wysox, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, while surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Wysox, Pennsylvania on February 17,1934, the son of Clarence A. Williams and Lyda Benjamin Williams.
While employed at Loblaw's supermarket in Ithaca, New York, he met his wife Pamela M. Burney and married her on July 5th, 1952. Shortly after marriage they moved to Wysox, where they raised their family, and he owned and operated Jack Williams Garage from 1963 to 1996. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife Pam, attending NASCAR races, and socializing at local gun clubs. Jack was a member of the Joey Chitwood Auto Thrill Show, Monroeton Gun Club, Towanda Gun Club, and Towanda Elks Club. Wyalusing American Legion, and The Wheel Inn.
Jack is survived by his children, Robert Williams and significant other Ruth Roof, Nancy Kunkle and husband Bill; grandchildren Tyler Williams, Raymond Finlan II and wife Christina, Taylor Pruyne and husband Codey; great grandchildren Olivia Finlan, Raymond Finlan III, Luke Pruyne.
Jack may now rest peacefully with his son Doug Williams, who passed away in 2023, and his wife Pam, who passed away in 2024. Memories and condolences for the family may be shared by visiting his guest book at www.tiogapointcremation.com.
