James Wayne Dawson, 63, of Center Street, Athens, Pa passed away on Thursday December 4th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on September 1, 1945 in Sayre the son of the late Reginald and Alice (Root) Dawson.
Jim lived for the moment enjoying playing the lottery, fishing, swimming, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends. He was loved and left his mark on all that knew him and will be missed.

He is survived by his two sons Jay and Derek Dawson both of Athens. Sisters: Nancy (Ken) Sheldon of Newark Valley, NY; Patricia (Doyle) Horn of Groton, NY; Connie (Jim) Horton of Waverly. Brothers: Reginald Jr. (Diane) Dawson of South Waverly; Bob Dawson of Waverly; Dennis Dawson of Waverly. Special friends Penny Clarke, Donald Schwarz, Joe Bergman, Megan Croft, Susan McGrath and many others also survive.
