Jean Marie Krause passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jeannie was pre-deceased by her father and mother, Egnots & Genevieve Twardeskie.  Jeannie is survived by Kim Krause, daughter Stephanie Jacobson, beloved grandson Alex Jacobson, former son-in-law Chris Jacobson, sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Michael Sheahan, nephew Mickey Sheahan, with wife Karah, and daughters Hannah and Finnleigh.  She is also survived by many cousins.

Jeannie was employed by and retired from NYSDOCCS in 2019.  She was also employed at Lefty's Restaurant in Waverly for a number of years.

Jeannie was a free spirit and did things her way.  She will be missed!

Per her request, there will not be a formal service, but her family will take her to a few of her favorite spots.  Jeannie loved her cats.  If anyone wishes, they can make a donation to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA in her memory.
