Jeannie L. (Ease) McCracken, 54, of Sheshequin Twp. Passed away following an extended illness, Saturday May 18th at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. She was surrounded by her loved ones until the end as she joined the lord, her loving husband and family members who had gone before her.
Jeannie was born July 26, 1958 in Waverly, NY to Dorothy Louise LaPlant and the late Harold Frisbie.
Jeannie was predeceased by her husband Lawrence (Jim) McCracken in 2010, and a Sister-in-law Lorretta Russell and Brother-in-law William Russell.
She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother,daughter, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her daughter Vicky (Roy) Hunsinger of Sheshequin Township, Step Daughters Loretta Kellogg of Candor, NY, Lori Stubbs of Connecticut, Debi Stubbs of Spencer, Denise Stubbs of Vermont, and step son Steven (Joleen) Stubbs of NY. Sisters Tammy (Bromo) Salsman, Bonnie Jones, Joanne (Missie) McKean and Brother Mike (Tammy) LaPlant all from the Valley Area. Grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and their children, cousins, and very special longtime friends.
Jeannie spent many hours surrounded by her grandchildren Ryan and Sarah.
She also considered her dog "Baby" one of her children.
A memorial service and celebration of Jeannie's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 1 PM at The New Generation Church in Milan, PA with Pastor Doug Abbey officiating.
