of Sullivan Terrace, Dushore, PA, passed away on Friday, September 5th at the skilled nursing unit of the Memorial Hospital. Joann was born on November 14, 1942 in Elmira, NY. a daughter of Pauline (Dougherty) Gordon. On January 26, 1963, in Jacksonville, N.C., she married Joseph McIntire.
Joann is survived by her loving and devoted husband Joseph McIntire; her children: Joseph (Karren) McIntire Jr. of Tamaqua, PA, Julie (Samuel) Jordan of New Albany, PA. Jacqueline Adams of Michigan, Jim McIntire of Shavers Town, PA. Jeffery (Laura) McIntire of New Albany, PA. Jennifer McIntire of Waverly, NY. 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many siblings, nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of her life on Tuesday September 8, 2009 at the Sullivan Terrace Apartments in Dushore at 5:00 PM
