Joanne Shedden, age 88, was born on October 13, 1935 in Elmira NY and was the first child of the late Harold and Marie Grinnell.  She graduated from Waverly High School in 1952 and graduated from the Elmira Business Institute.  She married Donald Shedden from Sayre PA in October of 1959.  They resided in Binghamton NY until 1969 when they moved back to the Waverly/Sayre area. Joanne enjoyed the company of her friends and family, and had a soft spot in her heart for animals.  She devoted much of her time to Waverly Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her son Bruce (Dana), daughter Cindy Lamberti (Dennis), grandchildren Ryan and Nicole Lamberti, and Miles and Owen Shedden. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald and brother Jack Grinnell. There will be a celebration of her life with family and friends at a later date.
