Joyce Marie Crone,93, a charismatic and generous soul, passed away on July 25, 2024 at her home in Sayre Pennsylvania. Born on December 16, 1930, in Waverly, NY, a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Havens. In July 0f 1952 she married the lover of her life Robert Crone who passed away December 17, 2009. Joyce's creative spirit shone brightly throughout her remarkable 93 years. She was a woman of great strength and determination, with a loving heart that left an indelible impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Joyce was a woman of many talents; her creativity knew no bounds. She applied her ingenuity to every task that came her way, earning the respect and admiration of everyone she touched. Her hands were never idle. Joyce had a particular fondness for crafts and bowling, activities that brought her great joy and satisfaction. Her creations were not just pieces of art but expressions of her soul, each one as unique and vibrant as Joyce herself. Her generosity extended beyond her time and talent. She was an ardent believer in sharing, whether it was her knowledge, her skills, or the fruits of her labor.
Joyce was a loving and dedicated, the core of her lively family. The love for her family was evident in her actions and her words, often reminding everyone that family mattered most to her.
She is survived by her children Kim Babcock and her husband Ryan, Mark Crone and his wife Gail, Sherri Crone, Randy Crone, and Scott Crone and his wife April. Bother David Havens and his wife Kim. Grandchildren: Timothy Mayo, Steven Mayo II, Zachary Babcock, Harley Babcock, Jennifer Crone, Robert Crone, Nikki Crone, Dakota Crone, Wendy Fuselier. Several Great Grandchildren and many special friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her Husband Robert Crone parents, Earl and Mary Havens, Step Mother Dorothy Havens, and her siblings, Jean Lawson and Richard Havens.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Joyce, we remember the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Joyce's memory will forever be etched in our hearts, not for what she did or said, but for how she made each one of us feel loved, valued, and special.
