Katherine B. Hunter ( Kate) of Sayre, died May 31, 2012 at the Bradford County Manor

Born in Towanda, Pa., on May 12th 1926, she was the daughter of Delanson and Dora Johnson . She was devoted to and loved the company of her family.
She is survived by her children Elwood L. Hunter of Owego, NY, Mary-Kay Gore (George) of Lusby Maryland, John W. Haggerty (Pat) of Sayre, Floyd M. Haggerty (Marie) of Sayre, and Richard D. Haggerty( Rae) , Ulster, PA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Elwood Hunter in 1999, daughter, Angeline Cindy in 1973, her brothers, Wallace and Isaac, her sisters, Ethel, Mary, Helen, Carrie, and Angeline.

She was a member of the Waverly First Church of the Nazarene in Waverly, NY until her illness.
There will be no calling hours. There will be a grave side memorial, for family only, at the Barton, NY cemetery on June 2nd Saturday Morning at 11:00 AM where she will be buried along side her husband Elwood.
