of New Albany, Pa., passed away at his home on September 28, 2009 after a losing a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born on Oct. 22, 1942 in Newton, NJ., a son of the late Lewis and Edna (Dickerson) Tims. On April 29, 1995 he married Cindy Decker in Blairstown, NJ. Ken worked for the M&M Mars Corp. for 31 years retiring on Oct. 31, 1995. Ken loved life and the outdoors especially enjoying hunting, farming, working outside, woodworking, and bird watching. He also loved his family and spending time with good friends.
In addition to his wife Cindy Tims, Ken is survived by his children: Steve and Christina Tims of Effort, Pa.; Wendy Gee of Gloucester City, NJ.; Alan and Margaret Tims of Kunkletown, Pa.; Stepson: Richard and Denise Clark of Franklin, NJ.; 7 grandchildren, and many special friends also survive.
A service for Ken will be held on Saturday October 10th at 11AM at the family home, RR 2 Box 237A New Albany, PA. with Rev. James Donahoo officiating.
