Obituary

Laura Sue Benjamin, a compassionate soul of Granville Summit, Pennsylvania, left this world on March 25, 2024, aged 59. Born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, on December 2, 1964, Laura was a remarkable woman who lived a life full of generosity and thoughtfulness. Her life was a testament to the quote, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Laura found herself in her work as a Home Health Aid, where she was not only reliable but went beyond the call of duty to provide comfort and care to those she served.

Laura was a woman of many passions. She loved being outdoors, enjoying the tranquility of her surroundings, and the beauty of nature. Her flowers were her pride and joy, a testament to her nurturing spirit. She loved to spend time with friends and family, giving them the gift of her generosity and thoughtful nature. Laura was an adventurer at heart, and she loved to hit the open road on motorcycle rides with her beloved husband, Brian.

Laura is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Benjamin of Granville Summit. Sons: Brian Jennings (Michelle) of Monroeton, PA, Robert Alexander of Granville Summit, PA., and Brandon Alexander of Granville Summit, PA. Mother Lena Cole of Granville Summit, PA.  Brothers: Donald Cole (Patty) of Canton , PA. , David Cole (Marilyn) of Canton, PA., Daniel Cole of Granville Summit, PA. , and Kenneth Jr. Cole (Tammy) Ulster, PA. Laura's life was a testament to her compassionate spirit, her reliability, and her generosity. She was a beacon of love and care for all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. As we remember Laura, we draw strength from the quote, "The song has ended, but the melody lingers on." Laura's melody will continue to resonate in the lives of those she touched.
