LaVerne (Vern) W. Orshaw died at home in the early hours of September 15, 2024. He was born in Herrickville, PA, February 14, 1930, to Harry and Frances Warner Orshaw.  For 30 years, he was employed as a machinist for the Ingersoll Rand Company.  Upon his retirement, he moved on to collecting and repairing antique watches and clocks as well as buying and selling antique collectibles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 76 years, Betty Ayers Orshaw, daughter, LaVonne Kunkel (John), son, Mark Orshaw (Pam), daughter-in-law, Sharon Orshaw, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. He was predeceased by his son, Dan, in 2023.

There will be no public commemoration, allowing each to honor his memory in their own way.  He was well liked and respected by all who knew him.
