Leon B. Brown ,89, of Towanda passed away on July 26, 2012 at the Bradford County Manor. Leon was born in Monroeton on April 27, 1923 a son of the late Dayton and Harriet Brown. Leon was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Leon enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and playing with his grandchildren.

Leon was preceded in death by his brother Dayton Brown and a sister Pansy Rose.

Leon is survived by his Children: Frances (John) Flanagan of Towanda, PA., Paul (Sue) Brown of Laceyville, PA., Dawn (Kevin) Liddick of LeRaysville, PA., Darlene Vaow of Towanda, PA., and Lillian Brown of Tacoma WA.
Grand children: Missy Stevens, Butch (Michelle) Allen, Paul Brown, James Royce Brown, Todd Parkhurst, Jennie Maxwell, Ben (Carrie) Liddick, Richard Liddick, Nickie (Arnoldo) Ramirez, Brendan (Jessica) Vaow. 5 Great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
