On the morning of Wednesday, March 3, 2021, Linda E. (Vanderpool) Tarbox went to be with the Lord. She was the beloved mother to 3 sons; Mark (Chera) Tarbox, Matthew (Lynette) Tarbox, Luke (Harmony) Tarbox, and daughter, Amanda (Tarbox) Enright. She was the proud Nana to 13 grandkids: Bethany (Jon), Will (Jeni), Trevor, Sierra (Billy), Raven (Sam), Dustin, Kimberly, Bobbi Jo, Tatiana, Dakota, Kaelyn, Logan, and Brooke. Linda was also a great-Nana to David, Bella, Addisyn, Lexi, Lula, Carson, Karsyn, Grayson, and Charlotte. Linda transcends in death, her older sister, Ruia (Corky) Lewis and younger sister, Susie Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

"Miss Linda" was a beloved school bus driver for Newark Valley Central School District for 25+ years and adored her "kids" from her bus. Linda was involved in the Union for the bus drivers and taught Bus Safety as it was paramount to her that her "kids" were safely transported to and from school.

Linda was born on March 5, 1948 to George and Edna (VanEtten) Vanderpool of Berkshire, NY. She was pre-deceased by her older sisters, Bessie (Vanderpool) Budney and Katherine Vanderpool.

A Celebration of Linda's Life has been postponed due to COVID restrictions until the summer 2021. Any flower arrangements or donations can be brought to her Celebration of Life.
