IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynn A.
Liguori
August 5, 1946 – January 25, 2024
Lynn A. Liguori, 77
With heartfelt tenderness, we celebrate the vibrant life of Lynn Liguori, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on August 5, 1946, in Madison, NJ, Lynn was a beacon of loving warmth, generous spirit, and loyal companionship. She spent 45 treasured years residing in Athens, Pennsylvania, where she crafted a life rich in love and laughter. As Henry David Thoreau once said, "It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see." Those who were fortunate enough to know Lynn saw a woman whose passion for life was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends.
Lynn was an integral part of the automotive industry, serving as a clerk for many years. She brought her spirited personality to her professional life, always ready to offer a helping hand or a word of encouragement. But her employment was just a part of her life; the core of who Lynn was could be seen in her personal interests. Her hobbies showcased her diverse passions and the depth of her character. She was an avid gardener, infusing life into her surroundings with her green thumb. Lynn was also a keen fisherwoman and a graceful dancer, embodying the rhythm of life in each sway and step. But above all, her favorite pastime was spending time with her cherished granddaughters, who filled her life with joy and purpose.
Lynn was married to her beloved husband, Guy Liguori, on May 30, 1980, and their love story was one for the ages. Together, they created a beautiful family that includes their sons, Andrew Liguori and Kent Hoffman, and step-daughter, Deanna Richardson. Lynn's memory will continue to be treasured by her brother, Charles Gruber, and sister, Bonnie Sands. Her legacy will also live on in her precious granddaughters: Isabella Liguori, Avaya Schuchardt, Bethany Richardson, and Elli Richardson. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel Gruber, and her sister, Joan Mottola.
Lynn's loving, loyal, and generous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Lynn to the memorial page, as we celebrate her life and remember the love she so freely gave.
