of Litchfield Twp. entered the arm of her Lord on November 29, 2010 at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1919 in Buttermilk Falls, PA., a daughter of Mervin C. and May Frances (Frisbie) Palmer. On July 4th 1936 Margaret married the love of her life Henry J. Dolan and together they filled their home with love and laughter. Family was very important to Margaret and she was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Henry J. Dolan, brother, Mervin F. Palmer and sister, Gertrude Dove, and parents Mervin C and May Palmer.
Margaret is survived by her daughter and Son-in-law: Sharon (Bob) Shaffer of Athens. Sons and Daughters-in-law: Henry (Naomi) Dolan of Deland, FL., Gerald (Jean) Dolan of Athens. Grandchildren: Rob Meyers, Terry Bouse, Karen Hansen, Cindy Romines, Kevin Dolan, Lori Pearson, Kyle Dolan, Derrick Dolan and Trevor Shaffer. Several Great Grandchildren and other special friends' relatives and neighbors.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held for Margaret on Thursday, December 2nd at 10AM at the Litchfield United Methodist Church with Rev. John Austin officiating.
Flowers will be provided by the family however, those who wish to may make a donation to the Litchfield United Methodist Church, C/O Norma Barrowcliff RR 1 Box 99 Sayre. Pa. 18840, where she was a member for over 60 years, or the Litchfield Vol. Fire Dept. RR 1 Box 144J Sayre PA 18840.
