97 of Spencer, N.Y. died Friday, January 7,2011 at the home of her daughter in Spencer. She was born on March 24, 1913 in Brockway, MI., the daughter of the late LeRoy and Cora (Phelps) Carlyle. On August 17, 1932 she married the love of her life Donald Nestor Toyryla and together they created a home filled with love and happiness.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband of 77 years, a son, Donald Carlyle Toyryla, grand daughter Deborah (Brock) Whitney, a brother and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Donna (Elton) Brock of Spencer, Carol (Donald) Kratzer of Canisteo, Kathleen (Richard) Haynes of Candor. Sons and daughters-in-law: Michael (Betsy) Toyryla of Spencer, and Denny (Peggy) Toyryla of Spencer; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grand- children, and 3 great great grandchildren. Also a brother-in-law, Rudy Hill of Warren MI.,and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Marguerite will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Rt.96
Candor on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1 PM. The family warmly invites everyone to join them for a luncheon following the service.
