Marjorie Ann
Lantz
Dec 24, 1930 — Mar 27, 2026
Marjorie Ann (Brown) Lantz passed away March 27, 2026 at home with loved ones present. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married Ralph Lantz on January 13, 1950. They bought a place in Litchfield PA where they raised a family of eight children. She was an accomplished pianist having played in church for many years and for the Lantz Family Singers. She was also a seamstress working in local dress factories, sewing costumes for high school plays and making beautiful wedding gowns and dresses. She loved to play the piano and sing. Marjorie was an excellent wallpaper hanger, loved doing crafts like crocheting, plastic canvas, ceramics and plaster crafts. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and games on the computer. She enjoyed watching the birds flocking to the bird feeders. She loved her extended family of brothers and sisters-in-laws, who accepted her as one of their own. She was happiest when she was with family. More than anything she loved and served our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed very much.
Marjorie was predeceased by Ralph, her husband of 63 years. She is survived by her children Brian and Karen (Taylor) Lantz, Patricia and Gwyn Kelsall, Nancy and John Sargent, Maureen and James DeFrahn, Russell and Marlene (Scrivener) Lantz, Julie and James Rodgers, Christine and Joseph Woodcock and Kevin and Jessica Lantz and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Marjorie Lantz will be held on June 19th at 6pm at the Lichfield United Methodist Church, 2759 Litchfield Rd, Sayre, PA 18840 with Lay Pastor Christine Woodcock officiating. A period of visitation will be held from 5-6pm. A meal and period of followship will immediately follow the service in the church hall.
