Marjorie "Midge" Wilkinson ,95, of Athens rested in the arms of her Lord on August 24, 2011 at the Ashton Healthcare facility. Midge was born on December 1, 1915 in Govenor, NY a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Buxton. In 1933 she married the love of her life William Wilkinson Sr. and together they filled their home with love and happiness. Midge loved her family and was a bus driver for the Waverly School District for over 30 years always making sure that countless children were safe and on time for school.
Midge was predeceased by her husband William Wilkinson Sr. on Feb. 23, 1971, sons Richard and Robert Wilkinson and a daughter Jean Schneider.
She is Survived by sons LaVern J. (Jamie) Wilkinson of Sayre and William E. Wilkinson of Lowman, NY many Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends.
At Midge's request all services be private at the families convenience. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice in loving memory of Midge.
