Martha J. Robert May,75, of Athens, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 surrounded by her family. Martha was born on July 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Edward and Clesta Alloway.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Clesta Alloway. Husband: Lester Wayne Robert, Son: Timothy Lyle Robert. Brother: Edward Alloway.
She is survived by her children: Vicki (Bill) Howard, Audrey (David) Derrig, Debbie (Andy) Dewitt, Michael Robert, Cindy Mayo and family, Jeffrey Robert and family. Grandchildren: Rachel (Luke Decker) Howard, Carrie (Kevin Hughson) Howard, David (Lauren) Derrig, Tim (Tiffany) Derrig, Jamie Derrig. Great-grandchildren: Jerred Howard, Thomas Decker, Madison Derrig, Davey Derrig, Timmy Derrig, Allyson Grace Derrig, Jason Dewitt, Jessica Dewitt. Sisters: Becky (Gene) Gold and Myra Johnson. Sisters-in-law: Neysa (Jerry) Jennings and Linda Honer. Brother-in-law: Charles Robert, many nieces, nephews and friends.
