passed away at home on December 21, 2009 with her family by her side. Miriam was born on August 3, 1912 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late William and Grace Daubenspeck Ward. On March 6, 1948 she married the love of her life John A. Olson who pre-deceased her on December 27, 1999.

Besides her husband Miriam was pre-deceased by her son John T. Olson, sisters: Elizabeth, Erna, Leslie, and Jane.

Miriam is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Grace and John McCormick of Dushore; Daughter-in-law: Debbie Olson of Pittsburgh; Grand daughter Carrie (Andrew) Zaldivar, great grand children Taylor and Zachary Zaldivar. All of Dubberly LA. Brother William Ward of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends also survive including her care givers Ann Vough and Pat Bacorn.
