Norma Jones Duddie, 90, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Norma was born on November 6, 1921 in Mountain Ash, Wales, UK a daughter of the late H. Jones and Mary P. Jones. Norma graduated from Meyers High School class of 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and attended the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing class of 1946. After graduation she went on to work at the Robert Packer Hospital and retired in 1969. Norma was an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Athens. She loved to read and solve crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting for her friends and family.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert England, and a sister Olwyn Daniels.

She is survived by a daughter: Mary D. Aylmer. Niece: Jane Goodman. Nephews: Thomas England, Robert "Dan" England and David Daniels. Grandchildren and special friends.

At Norma's request a private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience.
