Pamela M. Williams, 89, of Wysox, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday February 11th 2024. Pam was born in Tring Dacorum Borough, Hertfordshire England on August 11th 1934, the daughter of Frank Burney and Gwendolyn Lovegrove Burney. At the age of 14, after World War II, she immigrated with her parents to the United States on the Queen Elizabeth. They arrived in New York City on May 26th 1949, where she became a dual citizen. Pam resided with her family in Ithaca, New York, where she graduated from Ithaca High School. While employed at Loblaw's supermarket, she met Jack D. Williams and married him on July 5th, 1952. Shortly after marriage they moved to Wysox, Pennsylvania where they raised their family, and she was employed at Masonite for 20 years until her retirement. Pam was an active member of the Wysox Presbyterian Church and spent her retirement years wintering in Florida. She enjoyed playing cards, oil painting, and singing in the choir.
Pam is survived by her husband, Jack Williams; children Robert Williams, Nancy Kunkle and husband Billy; grandchildren Raymond Finlan II and wife Christina, Taylor Pruyne and husband Codey, Tyler Williams; great grandchildren Olivia Finlan, Raymond Finlan III, and soon to be baby Pruyne.
Pam may now rest peacefully with her son, Doug Williams, who passed away in 2023.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held by the family at a later date.
