Patricia Ann Peterson, 71, of Towanda passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of Towanda Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born on August 30, 1942 in Waverly, NY a daughter of Clair L. and Muriel (Brown) Peterson.

Patty has been a life-long resident of the valley. She worked at Rynone's and Penn York Opportunities. She enjoyed BINGO and spending time with her friends at the Towanda Senior Apartments, especially her best friends Shirley Wright and the late Delores Smith.
Patty is survived by her "very special sister" Joyce Nichols of East Smithfield, Pa; sister and brother-in-law: Ellen and Walter Depew of Boca Raton, Fla; brothers and sisters-in-law Clair and Chris Peterson of Chemung, NY; Richard and Donna Peterson of Waverly, NY; Jack Peterson of Tenn.; Donald and Ann Peterson of Lockwood, NY; Raymond and Liz Peterson of Towanda, PA; Charlie and Grace Peterson of Waverly; several nieces and nephews and their families also survive. Patty was predeceased by her parents, two brothers Clayton Peterson of Gasport, NY and Terry Oliver Peterson of Clearwater, Florida.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
