Perl Arthur Shores, 95, of Ulster, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home, the same home he was born in. Perl was born on July 24, 1917 in Ghent, Pa a son of the late Olie and Grace Shores. A life long and dedicate farmer, Perl treasured his family, enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and was a true "Mr. Fix It" He is survived by his wife Lillian; children: Boyd Shores and Fran Brown. Grandchildren: Jennifer, Kathryn and Molly; great grandchildren: Heather, Andrew and Magnus Perl. Several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Earl Shores, Elmer Shores and sister Marie Hayden.

A memorial service and celebration of Perl's life will be held on Sunday, January 20th at 2pm at the North Rome Wesleyan Church. A gathering for family and friends will follow until 4pm.
