Celebration of Life
Rhonda Lee Randall, a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated nurse, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the Sayre Health Care Facility after a long struggle with dementia. Born on June 22, 1961, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, Rhonda’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family, her profession, and her community.
Rhonda was a graduate of Sayre High School, which is where she met Buddy Randall, whom she later married on November 28, 1981.
With unwavering persistence, Rhonda worked to earn her Bachelor of Nursing degree through Mansfield University. Her career was defined by a deep commitment to caregiving across several local institutions. Rhonda concluded her career at Elderwood Nursing Home, where she championed the care of those suffering from the very disease that would later claim her own life.
Her retirement marked the end of a distinguished career defined by kindness, dedication, and an enduring desire to help others.Outside of her career, Rhonda was known for her spirited competitiveness and zest for life, whether on a softball diamond playing co-ed softball alongside her beloved husband, Buddy, or competing at cornhole with her family and friends.Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Clarence “Buddy” Randall Jr., with whom she shared a life full of love. She is also survived by her mother, Joyce Goodell; her son Colby (Jody) Randall of Gillett, Pennsylvania; and her daughter Morgan (Adam) Dwyer of Spencer, New York. Her brothers Richard Wayman and Rick (Mary) Wayman, and her sisters Robin (Vincent) DiSalvo, Wendy (Kim) Rickenbrode, and Tracy Wayman, carry forward her memory. Rhonda also leaves behind appreciated sisters-in-law Debbie Bortle and her husband Al, and Jeannette Calman and her husband Gary. Her legacy endures through her five grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wayman, and her brother-in-law, Scott Randall. Rhonda Lee Randall’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love and commitment to her family and career. Her memory will forever be honored by those who knew her, her dedication remembered, and her spirit celebrated across generations.
A celebration of Rhonda’s life is scheduled for June 20, 2026. Specific arrangements will be shared in the coming months.
