Robert M. Decker, 62, of Sayre, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Robert was born in Champaign, Il. on January 15, 1950 a son of the late Jack Minrod Decker and Fairie Anna Decker. Robert was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army in Europe from 1972-1980. Robert was a graduate of Bakersfield High School and was awarded a BA from Claremont McKenna College of California and a Masters in Education from the University of Southern California (USC).

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Bob Jr. & Jaleh Decker of Bakersfield, CA.; Jack Minrod & Mahaley Decker of Fort Bragg, NC.; and his daughter, Anna Leigh Decker of Athens, PA. Grandchildren: Sean Sheard, Eric Flores, Matthew R. Decker, Jack M. Decker III, Donovan Decker, and Lincoln Decker.
At Robert's request all services will be private.
