Robert M. Van Alstine, 77, of Athens, PA went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013. Mr. Van Alstine is survived by three sons and one daughter: Robert J. Van Alstine of Sayre, PA, Paul (Lois) Van Alstine of Sayre, PA, James (Becky) Van Alstine of Barton, NY, Charlene (John) Lindsey of Flint, TX.
Mr. Van Alstine is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. A brother and sister-in-law, Arthur "Snuck" (Marge) Van Alstine of Elmira, NY and 3 nieces. A companion, Betsy Pidcoe of Athens, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur B. and Edith Van Alstine.

At Mr. Van Alstine's request, there will be no services. Anyone wishing to make a donation in his memory may do so to the Guthrie Hospice, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA 18810.
