Roderick P. Otis, 74

Roderick P. "Rocky " Otis of Wyalusing, PA passed away on October 17, 2024 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA unexpectedly. Rocky was born on January 12, 1950 on the family farm in Camptown, PA to the late Carl E. Otis and Laura Mae Otis.

Rocky graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School Class of 1970. He was employed with Taylor Packing Co. for 37 years and detailed cars for Williams Auto Group, Smith and Packard and Sherwood Groves until his health no longer permitted. He is survived by his daughter Rachelle Otis Salsman and granddaughter Kensey Sue Salsman. Survived by brothers; Max (Claire) Otis, Ted Otis, Daryl (Joyce) Otis, Randy Otis, Jeff (Michelle) Taylor. Sister; Amy (Lance) Weaver.  Surviving also are many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

He was predeceased by his parents as well as brothers Thomas E. Otis, Robert C. Otis and family friend John Lynn.

Rocky enjoyed hunting, bingo, playing cards, spending time with his daughter, granddaughter and his family. Enjoyed his dachshunds Chrissy and Ginger, his cat Jade "Dave" and his grandpups.  Keeping with Rocky's wishes all services will be private at the convenience of the family.
