60, of Waverly, NY. passed away on November 18, 2010 at the Robert Packer Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on January 1, 1950 in Sayre, PA, a daughter of the late Albert and Rosie (Lattimer) Johnson. Rosie loved to camp and spend time outdoors. She especially loved fishing and playing pool with her many friends. Rosie was a dedicated mother, grandmother and caregiver always living life to the fullest.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Shirley Mallard and a brother: Jimmy Johnson.
Rosie is survived by her Daughters and Son-in-law: Michelle (Richard) Robinson of Waverly, NY. and Patty Heinzelman of Aravia FL. Sons and Daughters-in-law: Walt Heinzelman of Vestal, NY, Ernie (Sue) Heinzelman of Waverly, NY., Tommy (Crystal) Heinzelman of Lowman, NY. , and Jim Hienzelman of Carleton MI. Brother: Albert (Shelly) Johnson of Waverly, NY. Sister: Martha (Butch) Gable of Waverly, NY. seven grandchildren , one very special great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and many other special friends relatives and neighbors.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday November 27th from 2-5pm at the South Waverly Community Hall, 57 Pleasant St. South Waverly PA. The burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Flowers will be provided by the family however, those who wish to may make a donation to the Guthrie Cancer Center 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA. 18810 in loving memory of Rosie J. Laport.
