Thomas Clayton Park, 24, of Lockwood and also Elmira, NY. passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 due to complications from diabetes. He was born on April 25, 1988 in Sayre, PA. Tom was the son of Bill and Katie (Sisson) Park and brother Adam Park of Lockwood, NY. Tom loved drawing. He had a gift for gab and loved being surrounded by happy people. He worked at the Dakota Watch Company located in the Arnot Mall. His favorite job was working with special needs kids at Lions Camp Badger in Spencer, NY. He was very active in community events. He loved performing in the high school and college plays Anything Goes, Brigadoon, The Gershwin Review and The Sleeper. Tom was a strong advocate for his beliefs in the equality and rights of all.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents Esther Park and Harry Park Jr.
He is survived by his parents: William and Kathern (Sisson) Park of Lockwood NY. Brother: Adam Park of Lockwood, NY. Grandparents: Ray and Bonnie Sisson of Felton, DE (formerly of Waverly). Aunt Miracle (David) Owens of Waverly, NY, Uncle John (Sue) Sisson of Felton, DE., Uncle Harry Park of Athens, PA. Several cousins and so many friends.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Spencer-VanEtten High School Auditorium at 16 Dartts Cross Road, Spencer, NY 14883 from 1 to 3 pm.
